One of us is Lying is a book that gave me the joy of reading after a long period of time. Spent days and the whole night was almost over while reading.... A nice story holding the suspense until the book is almost over...
The story gave a little flavor of Gossip Girl to me as I didn't watch Pretty Little Liars.
The character of Bronwyn and Nate was similar to me like the characters of Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones, even their turning points in the story.
Addy & Cooper, coming from a home of relationships where children's lives are tried to set up with the POV of parents. They gifts their children some hypothetical points to acclaim successful in life. And those children who are apparently seen as born with a silver spoon in the mouth but actually their mouths are tied up with the chains holding by their parents.
Simon another part of this society who thinks the worlds own them a clarification. But the truth is The world is never accountable for anything it does to its human elements. Never ever. If a person wishes that he would get good always as they didn't do anything wrong they are wrong. This world is never fair and Justice is served on some rare occasions.
Anyway, a good book with a flow of suspense, love, romance, friendship, complications starting at the end of the teenage. Looking forward to the other books of this series.
